Hey, I’m Nick!
I am a UI/UX and product designer based in Chicago. I thrive on creative UX problem-solving and enjoy creating visually impactful UI designs that elevate digital products. My background in branding and graphic design, prior to product design, has provided me with valuable skills that allow me to keep up with ever-changing design trends. Working with established brands and creating brand identities from the ground up has given me an extensive toolbelt for building unique brands that stand out, and maintaining successful companies with empathy-driven design. I worked for the design firm Grady Campbell as a digital and UI/UX designer, working with clients to keep up with their web design needs, and creating new digital products for new clients.
For a little bit about me personally, I would describe myself as a thrifty, outgoing, elder gen-z, with a passion for creativity in many aspects of my life. My favorite hobby is thrifting ill-fitting clothes and upcycling them using sewing and embroidery techniques that I learned by taking loads of fine art classes at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (Where I graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design).
I love working on anything crafty in my free time, and you can see some examples below, and could also tell you way too much about my favorite reality tv shows (Survivor & Real Housewives). Lastly, I can’t keep the same hairstyle for more than 6 months, so don’t get too used to any length, color, or cut.
Please feel free to contact me about any inquiries, and I look forward to chatting with you!
